What a nice
community! Originally
settled by the Dutch, the architectural style of these early
settlers is evident in the beautiful homes of Hillsdale.
The West Hill, a newer executive area, offers a spectacular
view of New York City. One of the largest towns of the
Pascack Valley, Hillsdale offers its residents a diverse
shopping area located in the center of town.

Situated in the
most northerly section of the Pascack Valley, Montvale is
renowned for being the home to many national and
international corporations that help provide the town with a
stable property tax. Its excellent transportation
network enables corporate personnel quick access to
surrounding metropolitan areas. The local
government had the foresight to establish strict guidelines
for both commercial and residential development. This
excellent planning enabled Montvale to grow in an orderly
and favorable manner. Home to Pascack Hills Regional
High School, Montvale is noted for its excellent scholastic

| Park
Ridge
Park Ridge
reflects its individuality by being a truly "self
contained" community. In the early 1900's,
it established its own Electric and Water Companies that
still service its residents today. Park Ridge is home
to a growing corporate population while it still maintains
its small town flavor. The historic "Bears
Nest" area is being developed with luxurious
townhouses, a major hotel and well designed corporate
campuses. Numerous recreational activities are
available at the municipal pool, tennis courts and athletic
fields.
Elementary, Inter-Parochial and Park Ridge High School
provide excellent education for the children within the
Borough. Its excellent programs are pointed to with
pride by local residents. Located in the northern
section of the Pascack Valley, Park Ridge is only minutes
from the Garden State and Palisades Interstate Parkways and
the New York Thruway. Bus and rail transportation is
available to its residents.

| River
Vale
Rich in
revolutionary War History, River Vale was the site of famous
Baylor Dragoon Massacre in 1778. Today, a tranquil
residential atmosphere is reflected in this charming
community known as the "Garden Spot" of the
Pascack Valley. Rolling lawns, shaded streets and
lovely homes are characteristic of its neighborhoods.
The school system, with its quality and excellence,
exemplifies River Vale's overall image. This town
boasts more country clubs than any other town in the Pascack
Valley. These supplement the exceptional recreational
facilities, teen center, town parks and ballfields that
provide residents with opportunities for both social and
athletic events. The annual Township Picnic, Memorial
Day Parade, Summer Day Camp and Little League soccer and
football programs are available to residents. The
"Four Corners" is the center for the office and
commercial activity of the Township. In the 1970's,
the governing body had the foresight to provide zoning for
townhouses and condominiums, an alternate life-style.

| Washington
Township
Established in
1840, Washington Township was named after George Washington
who visited the House of Seven Chimneys, a local historic
landmark.
Most homes in Washington Township were built after 1950 and
followed strict zoning codes established to protect its
residential atmosphere. Several townhouse
complexes are an integral part of the community.
Washington Township has an excellent school system with both
public and private facilities. Residents are provided
with year-round recreational programs at local parks,
athletic fields, swim and tennis clubs. A children's
day camp program that features games, sports, crafts and day
trips is available during the summer. Other annual
events include a Fireman's Pancake Breakfast, Easter Egg
Hunt and the children's Halloween Parade. A
"Y" Facility offers its members a full scope of
activities for young and old alike. Interstate
highways provide Washington Township with excellent
commuting. The proximity of the town to New York
City bound express buses and the Garden State Parkway are a
distinct advantage to commuters.

| Woodcliff
Lake
Located at the
highest point in the Pascack Valley, Woodcliff Lake offers
its residents a blend of woodlands, gently flowing streams
and well manicured properties. A selection of homes
from antique to contemporary provides residents with an
interesting mix of country living and sophistication.
Woodcliff Lake offers an excellent public school system with
an outstanding curriculum and after school programs.
Summer and pre-school day camps are part of the extensive
and successful recreational activities. A soccer camp
and tennis program are available to the youth of the
community at the town's tennis courts and numerous ball
fields. The Old Mill Pond, the town swimming
facility, is the location of the annual Woodcliff Lake Day.
This much anticipated and well attended event includes water
sports, games, rides, music and food. The rural
atmosphere of the borough was not significantly changed by
the addition of corporate headquarters and a major hotel.
These facilities have enabled Woodcliff Lake to be
recognized as one of the most desirable residential areas in
the county.
